A Brief History of Equus Software

When we started out in 1999, ‘Global Mobility’ was still a phrase waiting to be coined. Most people thought of moving as a ‘relocation’, and that’s how we got started. Using this new online world, we started out to build a program that would help companies move people in the United States and manage their expenses. Taking a gamble, we launched our first product ‘ReloAdvantage’.

For this first product, we learned a lot and were thankful for our initial client relationships that challenged us to continually improve the product to meet their ever evolving needs. This was a value that has been with us ever since – continuous improvement, something we do every 8 weeks when we launch the latest update of our products to our clients.

As the relocation industry evolved, so did we. ‘Global Mobility’ was born, and so our mobility management product evolved to meet the more international nature of what our clients wanted. We needed new features and a better platform. With this in mind, we launched AssignmentPro in 2005 and over the last 10 years have seen our platform become the market leader in Mobility Software.

Throughout the last decade, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds. We recently hired our 110th employee which for those of us who have been here since the beginning, is a massive change from the 5 we started with. From our roots in Denver, Colorado, we now also have offices in Dallas, London and Manila.

It’s not been without its challenges, but through it all, we’ve been able to hold onto those core values that we had back when we started – a great place to work, keep our clients happy, and continuous innovation.

Looking at today, we work with over 100 organizations - global brands and companies we’ve worked with since day 1. We remain true to who we are, with an energy and drive to deliver the right solutions to our clients problems. And we do this every day.
