Equus will be releasing our new AI data assistant powered by AI soon. I want to share a few of the great things your global mobility team will be able to accomplish with the new tool.
Let’s say you want to analyze or summarize key data about your mobile employee population. Perhaps you don’t already have a dashboard or report for what you want to know. Instead of writing a custom user report or exporting the data to Excel, you can use the handy AI Assistant to get what you need—just by asking it.
Let me give you some examples:
- What were the top 5 destinations for moves last month?
- Show me permanent transfers that had policy exceptions in the last 6 months.
- Show me current active caseload for coordinators, by phase.
I’m sure you can think of more insights about your mobile employees you would like to discover just by asking. We hope the tool helps you make informed decisions more easily and that you can use it to provide your business stakeholders with the information they need.
While the prior examples are more “data analysis” type questions, here are some simpler uses of the assistant:
- Show me all moves in the last year between Germany and Argentina.
- Show me all business trips taken by Mike Smith, including dates, countries and cities.
- Show me any cases still in “Awaiting Visa” phase with a start date before today.
As you can see, the AI Assistant is a sophisticated search tool that can quickly identify the mobile employee cases you want to see.
If you want to provide feedback about how the assistant is doing, that’s built right into your conversation so that you can tell us if something was great or if it didn’t do what you wanted.
Let me finish by answering a couple of the common questions we have already been asked about our new data assistant.
What about security, data access and data privacy protections?
Of course the AI Assistant can be turned on or off for particular users with security roles – just like everything in the Platform. Also, the same data access security we use everywhere in the Equus Platform is built into the AI Assistant (if you aren’t allowed to see certain mobility cases, they will not be available in the Assistant). As for data privacy protections, none of your mobility data will ever be sent to a public AI service, so nothing changes with the data protections you have currently.
Which AI engine are you using?
For this version of our assistant, we are using the Microsoft Azure OpenAI service.
It’s a good start, but what’s next?
We aren’t stopping here. This is a first release, so it may not do everything you want yet. Expect much more data to be available for your queries and expect new features that will continue to enhance and “level up” your abilities with the Equus Platform.
If you’re a current client, we look forward to hearing feedback from you. If you’re a company considering the Equus Mobile Workforce Platform, we would love to show you our new AI-powered data assistant.
